Old Nissan steering cables:
 

Some Nissans (about 2002 to 2008) will have 10 / 6 (3+3) format

If yours has this cable it is a matter of cutting the 3 wires


and joining them to the 3 wires on the plug which went to the car stereo.
You / your installer will need a multimeter to work out which of the 2 wires in your car are active (and the other is earthed).  Next they will need to be joined these to the Pink and Orange wire.  The black of course is earth
