Kia / Hyundai connections

For the Kias and Hyundai of the 2012 - 2016 era the connections has an abnormally as they all should have the same connections but it seems come cars are wired slightly differently

If you find your stereo starts as soon as it is connected and will not turn off with the key out the it is getting power to both the accessories (Red) as well as the constant (Yellow)
The remedy is quite simple.  Cut the red and re-power this.  Some installers will use the cigarette lighter but it should be able to be re-powered from the B11 pin




If the stereo does not switch into reverse automatically then the brown or pink wire (often labeled as reverse or back) needs to be connected to the A9 wire.   This A9 wire is also used to power the camera.  The factory camera is 5 or 6V and so an inline reducer is to be used.
