Issues with Suzuki Jimny APVSZ02
 

We had a customer install this and his LEDS would flash on the dash.  He worked out the solution and it is in his words below

Contacted Aerpro and they advised "It sounds like there could be an issue with the APVSZ02 adapter, I would suggest taking it back to your original place of purchase to have it swapped over for another one under warranty."

However, I managed to figure it out.  Looks like it is an incompatibility between parts.

Went through car looking for anything else that might be causing the issue.  A bit back swapped out the reverse bulbs for the Stedi LED ones that they have for the Jimny.  https://www.stedi.com.au/t20-7443-w21-5w-wedge-led-light-dual-filament-parker.html

Have never had any issues with the LED bulbs, but to rule them out I swapped the standard bulbs back in and the issue went away

So by themselves either the Stedi LED bulbs or Aerpro APVSZ02 adapter work fine, but together they cause the issue.

I had another Jimny OEM reverse camera adapter that I bought a while ago from AliExpress.  I didn't use it / like it as it was not plug and play (did not have the white reverse / park wire plug) hence why I ordered the Aerpro one.  

I tested the AliExpress one with the Stedi LED reverse lights installed and all works perfectly with no errors  

So I have now cut the white reverse / park wire plug off the Aerpro adapter and added it to the AliExpress adapter.  It is all plug and play and works fine with no errors = )

So I managed to sort the issue in the end. Thought should let you know in case the same issue came up with the other ones you sell
