A single spiral is used for when one camera is used on a caravan / trailer.  For vehicles with 2 cameras (ie horse float) a twin spiral cable is used in conjunction with a twin 7.5m cable from the monitor. 

These above cables are all extension cables and will lock onto each other making them waterproof at each connection
